I did everything in act 1 but im still lvl 4 it is normal ?

12 is the maximum level in this game if I'm correct so sounds about right. I might be wrong though.

Maybe not. But I'm the murder hobo who cleared out the entire goblin camp and blighted village despite sneaking out/peace being an option.

Thats a few hundred exp.

Did you clear the underdark?
You can miss it but there is huge xp and loot there

You should end act 1 around level 5 if you do everything. You might be missing something

You definitely didn't do everything. I'm still in Act 1 (going through Grymforge) and I'm 2/3 of the way to level 6.

Hmmmm...my party is just shy of level 4, and I haven't killed the Goblin leaders or cleaned out the camp/town yet...so that does seem a tad low to be finished with Act One...

I got level 4 before even getting to Goblin camp. I just cleared the destroyed village, crypt, and found all companions. There is still so much, I think I will get to 6-7 before moving to act 2.

Highest Ive got was lv 5.. But that is literally underdark, Ilithid boss fights, Crypt, goblin, ogre fights, Goblin town fight, goblin boss fight, gnoll fight, paladin and gith fight to get to lv 5

i just did the goblin camp and i was already level 4. its different because of you class you can earn xp through dialogue if you a charisma based class. other classes suffer from not talk good and can't make the rolls. But they excel in other ways. like mages who can't talk a guy down from a ledge but can destroy an entire group of mobs with one fire ball. its all give and take. my advice talk more try to make the rolls or murder hobo any enemies that might even be aggressive toward you or won't count as murder.

i managed to reach lvl 5 after finished 70% act 1 so obviously u havent done everything

Even without murderhobo-ing you should be at least 5-6

Yeah my friends and i hit 6 1/4th at the end of Act1 without murdering everyone
