Is racism too good?

For pre ordering baldurs gate 3 you get an item called shapeshifters mask that let's you become any race.

This is hugely overpowered since too many npcs are racist and will talk totally different if you are shapeshifted into their race. It makes a lot of dialogue totally easy to get good outcomes.

Should racism be removed from this game or should the shapeshifter mask be removed?

Nah, in D:OS2 it was overpowered thing (you just sacrificed head slot for one character permanently), in BG3 there is Disguise spell anyway.
Playing as Lloth Drow is hilarious thought. So no point to wear the mask anyway.
Except if you kill your Git companion and playing as other race and for some reason want to be friendly with bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Racial bias worlds in rpg's should be embraced more if anything. Its a great self reflection of our own. If you don't think folks IRL are attempting to be something there not you've been living is some weird fantasy land.

Also, and I know this is hard to do, if you feel something OP, then well. don't use it? Free will is a thing bro.

It shouldn't be so racist to the point that it feels like "Fantasy south in the 50s" but a few people who have a problem with your race (if your race is something like drow, half-orc, or other thematically problem races) should be ok. Someone on twitter was crying about the slavery and racism in the game. I feel like the truly evil people should stand out myself.
