i cleared act one entirely, then mountain pass + creche then the shadowland, then i did shars gauntlet, cleared up any quests then did night chick with wings, then when and did moonrise and kethric.
Just do all the things, and explore all the areas.
We need it ASAP. I am playing a strong party but really even that said. It's still probably too ez pz
If you go straight for the bigger encounters you will absolutely destroyed. It has nothing to do with the inherent difficulty of the game, but rather the way it is laid out. The only way you could battle this is with scaling enemies to your level, but that has other obvious flaws.

I am not lying. I just 1 shot mykrul blind and got the achievement for it. I'm saved on the road to baldurs gate at level 10.
Also I didn't have any issues with any combat. Most end in 1 to 4 turns max. For example with nightstons help we killed mykrul in 3 turns including turn 1 used to free her with dimension door
I wouldn’t say no to a harder mode. Not necessarily more difficult on the dice checks because rng, but in some ways a little tougher. Maybe a 1 down mechanic so if they are killed in battle, no save, have to revive, and if you can’t they are wiped from the game as you leave.
But.. act 2 is kicking me badly, so idk
It's not that, it's that you pretend you go in blind every encounter and they're easy. You and I both know that's complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and just you trying to show off your imaginary massive epeen.
For example the player can walk into the Hyena fight at level 2 very easily, and then face a level 4 Hyena chief who will 1 shot literally any member on your team. That isn't "easy".
I'm level 8 in the exact same spot you are, which further reinforces my point: you have just been leveling a lot.
You know I solo early access several time. I may attempt this in future however I'm concerned that carry weight will be horrible and make the game feel a lot slower. Also missing a thief, lock pickertrap disarm type class will be so annoying
I saved my boss fights with shadow play. Only 1 I reloaded was forge because I missed clicked my mc to move instead of attack and I wanted to kill him in 2 turns. I already know all of act 1 and there isn't much in act 2 that poses a threat with my party setup. Always keep 3 boxes in you inventory for ez advantage. Twinned spell haste on your pally barb and fireball or wall ez pz. Don't forget bless or faerie fire
The game is too ez. End of story.
I solo the early access multiple times so I have a wide understanding of the game.
