Why not Kill Astorian? He's an irritating tool

I saved my game before Astorian tried to suck my blood at camp.

I find him to be the Jar Jar Binx of BG3. Apparantly, so does everyone else in my party, including Shadowheart, because there were no companion reactions when I killed him.

Now I never have to hear his annoying voice again. His in your face presence on the BG3 box art irritates me enough.

All that said, am I missing any cool gear from killing this idiot I could care less about missing out on his story, but when it comes to gear I might consider loading the save and letting him suck my blood.

It was really gratifying staking him though the heart though.

Had companions comment on him being dead when we woke up but otherwise unfazed.

While I killed him promtly couple of times (back when where even crossing the river killed him and he was both anoying and useless) nowadays I conduct cerebromorphosis experiments on him. He is quite willing.

His jokes are far better than Jar Jar's, althought he isn't a Sith Lord in disguise sadly.

I enjoy his story line and voice acting but my god the way they introduce him in the game is just complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Like who is going to invite a dude to travel with them who just held a knife to your throat? No one. It's so dumb. This is yet another example of ♥♥♥♥ that was pointed out on day 1 of EA that has never been addressed.

Makes sense to me, like yeah most wouldn't say yes, but you have the knowledge that this person also has the tadpole in them and you both need to deal with it or die. You both have a vested interest in the other being alive to help deal with the problem, so I absolutely see the logic.

...Still killed him though.

I find his plus 13 to lockpicking and disarm traps more useful than killing him.

If you let him bite you he will kill you, dude says just a bit, won't hurt, just to quench the thirst, then he kills you and tries to gaslight you into thinking you just passed out.

Astarion is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ creep for sure, I feel like it's a guarantee he's lying about not sucking the blood of other people before you too.

I typically kill Astarion because I know he's a vampire wannabe, and I typically don't let monsters live.

This is a D&D game, after all, and we are monster slayers.

It sounds to me like you are beating around the bush - you want to kill Astarion because you think he's "gay".

Then they gave me a dialog option to melee him
Turn out my char use a weapon to penetrate him, killed him on spot (so much for just "melee him" lol)
Totally accident tho since the dialogue is not clear however i found that i missed quite alot of content without him around

He tried bite me, I'm dragonborn barbarian, I am not one to be bited.
So I took the nearest 2x4 and buried it in his chest.
Then I'll drink his blood from his skull before crushing it into powder.

Whats the problem? Some people play this game to have sex with bears and I play it to genocide. Nothing wrong with that, I am not hurting anyone in real life.
