Action Surge achievement bugged?

I got the Action Surge achievement for casting Grease in a doorway. I guess each individual saving throw for Grease counts as a separate attack for the purposes of that achievement? But the description says "make 5 attacks," and an attack feels like it should be something that does damage, not a debuff. Does this work the same way for stuff like Faerie Fire?

Same here - I think it was an alchemist fire pot for me (so technically damage, but still). I too assumed, that this achievement was meant for showing off some fighter/multi-class DND5E knowledge.
