Not like other games...

Ubisoft and especially COD series come to mind.

I thought they were british, regardless, i'm pretty sure both would be "western".

Western refers to Europe more so then hemispheres. Also I think has to be a bit of a "Renaissance" era thing too.

lmao whats your point? there is enough dialogue to make few books from this game. It's not like COD with half empty ass-looking 3D scanned maps.

Weclome in 2023, I've got ton of space and it didn't take 30 minutes to download everything. Are you still with a cathodic screen and Windows 98?

maybe the compression isn't perfect but the amount of content is justified. sorry but most eastern games are stylised and aren't even close to the quality... Larian is a European company so get your ♥♥♥♥ straight. ignorance is not bliss you dense mole.

most of it are textures ~85GB. Comes with the territory of modern hardware
not something most people want to forgo.
Sure, sometimes it would be nice to just download the quality level you would use, but often enough you have to wait and see how well it runs. In the end easier to just download everything in one go as it is the "issue" most easily dealt since it doesn't involve choices that could be messed up. ;)
(speaking as someone for whom the download took a few hours ;) )

Not what I was thinking. Wasn't thinking about Western Europe.

Over here, in the entertainment capital of the world, we are flooded with news stories about terrorists and eastern countries wanting to bomb the west. And they are not talking about Western Europe.

The biggest games come out of North America. Two more are coming in September. FC 24 and Starfield, from Canada and the United States.

We are the giant western target.
