Slide in hotbar disappear

Hi, does anyone know how to put a red slide in the hotbar? I drag one ny mistake and can't understand how to put one back to put all my potions and scrolls. Thanks!

I just did the same thing, and I'm not sure how to bring it back. Would love some help with this also!

Not sure if you have made any progress on this issue.
If I have my hotbars that should have the slide open (on the character that is missing it) and switch to another character and start sliding the red bar on another character that has it. While holding the slide bar with left click, I can switch back to the character missing the slide using F1, F2, F3, F4 (whatever spot they are in) and it reappears.

Unfortunately I can still accidentally slide it off and have to redo to bring it back, but it is a sort of fix.

Edit:
Was messing with this some more, and i managed to get it back, but now my passives are also permanently showing to the right of the sliders.

Thanks a lot it works for me, and yeah i tried 2 times and once i also got the passive on the right side, but the other times they wasn't.

not sure if I'm doing this wrong but it doesn't seem to work for me, I select and hold it while on character 2 and then switch to character 1 who is missing it and it is still missing, any advice?

Here is what worked for me, Click on items tool bar, then click on the Default tool bar, you will see the two red bars fly across the screen, as they fly past spam click on them. This will cause them to stop and give you control of them again.

What do you mean? What's the items tool bar and default tool bar and how are you clicking on both when one is missing?
