New Character - Fighter is best?

So i decided to make a new character.

My old character kinda bugged the game... so..

My new one will be Fighter and i will multiclass that fighter only with other fighters, to avoid Paladin problem.

If I choose to fight style Great Weapons and i will max Charisma and Wisdom and Inteligence, is it good option?

I wanna be strategist, like Obi Wan Kenobi.

Because Obi Wan has high wisdom

Well, because they do just +2 or +3 to damage. It doesnt looks so much. Its very small amount to compare with rest of entire party...

If you're serious, the HP gains from CON bonus are cumulative, a fighter's saving rolls depend on STR/CON (this is a matter of life and death, not just a few damage) and you're going to want to populate the rest of your party with characters that specialize in other abilities for their relative advantage.

If you want to be a wisdom or charisma-based melee spellcaster, be a paladin, cleric, or pact of the blade warlock

Also yes, Obiwan dies because his brilliant strategy is to die

Str isn’t just +2/3 damage. It’s also +2 or three to hit. Which is considerable.

Well im trying to create some cool character :(( I can make CON neutral, like CON - 10.

Or do weapons have Strenght or Dexterity Check?

And btw, I can have only Four - 4 people in party?

This. I mathed out the +4 (from level 18 in a stat) and with the accuracy, it ends up being roughly double the damage.

You'll want all the +hit you can get if you're using the -5/+10 from GWM.

You also can't multiclass a class into itself.

Alright, playing fighter now, I maxed Inteligence, then Charisma and then Wisdom... and i have tremendous fun.

Multiclassing only Fighter, only small disadvantage I found is, that i dont have so much HP.

My safebet in rl campaigns are halforc fighter that went the champion way so they crit on 18 - 20, not sure how it is in the game tho

Can get spell sniper which also gives bigger crit chance in game.
They changed it from what it usually is and stacks.

So 17 to 20 is crit
