Breaking Vengence Oath?
Does anyone have any fool proof ways to break the Oath of a Vengence paladin? seems next to none save for killing a random innocent person...

betray the tieflings that captured the green lady. walk up to the situation with her in the suspendet cage , start the conversation and choopse to attack them.

Way beyond that point.

From what I understand, killing the Tieflings keeping one of your companions in a cage doesn't break your oath, nor does allowing Sazza to be killed or free either. It's very un-Paladin of you to do so, but you've not sworn Vengeance for a great wrong. You're goal is to fight "The Greater Evil", it doesn't matter if the minions to a magic user are pawns against their own will; killing them to get to the magic user is an acceptable loss. And yes that will be an option in the same area actually.

If you encounter a specific option that compels you to swear "Paladin: Oath of Vengeance" in a conversation, it is binding; at that point doing anything that does not result in the death of the thing you have sworn vengeance upon will break your oath.

As a Paladin of Vengeance, evil CANNOT be permitted to live once you have sworn vengeance on it.
It doesn't work like the other Oaths were doing morally grey or evil things breaks your oaths, I read a cursed book for extra power as a Paladin and it didn't break my oath.

I've given two options thus far to uphold my oath and I've striven to do so, because it's really fun to be Batman, but I'm allowed to shank the evil I'm going after lol

if Kagha killed the child + you told her parents + you fought on the side of the grove and the tieflings, during the party you can find her parents trying to kill Kagha, and talk them down from getting revenge.

Selling out the druid grove to the drow in the goblin camp broke my vengeance oath, even though I killed her before they could act on the info I gave her.
