Oathbreaker Bug

Well I broke my oath of devotion for the 2nd times go to my camp and rest but where is the oath breaker? doesn't show up have been paying for a few hours normally at this point with no oath. I've tried resetting the game as well as restarting my pc but nothing has worked

I have the same bug. I'm at the end of act 2. Hoping there is a fix. Its disappointing how many bugs are still in this game after several years of early access.

Deep into chapter 3, oathbreaker npc still non-existent, I'll just be an oathless paladin till the end I guess

It ended up fixing itself in the end try long resting in different zones of the world. long resting in act 1 didn't work at all but as soon as I went back to the act 2 zone he appeared at my camp.

Also having this issue, he showed up and everything worked fine in Act 1. Late Act 2 I broke my Oath again, he never reappeared. Now I'm a dozen hours into Act 3 and he still hasn't shown.

Tried doing lots of different Long Rests, with the Paladin, without, making the Paladin leave my party, adding them back. Only thing I haven't tried is making another character a Paladin and rebreaking the Oath.

Might try that with a hireling and see if I can retrigger it.


EDIT: Tried the Hireling, broke my Oath, slept a few nights/just went to camp with it and the Oathbreaker Knight never appeared.

I’m having this issue right now, been broken for 3 days and I did many long rests and he’s still not showing up at camp like he normally would. I don’t want this necrotic stuff, I want my light. It’s not my fault my teammate killed balvazar

In doubt, travel to Act 1 area and check the camp there
