8-9 : Add -1 to your dice rolls
10-11: Add 0 to your dice rolls
12-13: Add 1 to your dice rolls
14-15: Add 2 to your dice rolls
16-17: Add 3 to your dice rolls.
18-19: Add 4 to your dice rolls.
20-21: Add 5 to your dice rolls.
SO for every 2 stat points over 10 you gain +1 to your roll.
It's not complicated. Some attacks/spells/checks use specific stat blocks to decide what bonus you use. Finese weapons use DEX, other weapons use STR. Perception checks are based on wisdom and so forth.
Really just look up the basic 5E DND rules it's not complicated.
maybe let me ask the question an other way.
are the bonuses the only thing that changes the dificulty of a dice roll?
or are my atributes somehow changing the number i have to beat with my dice as well
1.the difficulty of an roll is determined by the dificulty of an action so to speak.
and its not being affectet by my stats at all (normaly)
2. its most efficient to lets say put 16 points rather than 17 points into charisma because i will get no more bonus till i level the atribute to 18
thanks guys
