Dialogue overlapped/echo bug

Lately I have been expressing some odd dialogue overlaps, where the npc i am talking to will speak both their next and previous lines at the same time. I have checked or damaged files within my game, and I have tried with different audio drivers and updates. Yet nothing works, does anyone have an idea as to what is going on?

When I steam the game to my friend via Steam, they do not report this odd bug. It is as if I, the player, am the one hearing this odd echo.

Go to Windows Sound options and in speakers section (whatever u listen the sound with) - turn OFF the Windows Sonic for Headphones. Fixed echo bug for me.
