Vendor gold replenishment?
...I almost expect this question to be totally ignored because this forum seems to be only getting responses if your post is a troll post, but I'm going to try anyway.

Can anyone answer how the game decides to replenish the supply of gold that vendors have for buying stuff? Is it just the next time you reload your save, or is their a time factor?

I think it is a long rest just like your wiz spells. I could be wrong though.

I believe it a long rest that refreshes gold and some basic stock items. Like the tiefling in the grove will get different +1 weapons.

Long rest I believe. Been robbing them after each one :)

As long rests advance time I guess it is that. The grove merchants certainly had all their money back when i went shopping at level 3.

Thank you! I had read somewhere else that it was long rest, but I haven't long rested yet since starting the game and the grove vendors did restock more than once.

The "or level up" part of your answer is what has been missing from what I'd read everywhere else.

My party is out of spell slots, out of short rests, and severely banged up....so I will also be long resting soon. . .

Maybe milestones count too for restock? When you pass certain points in the game, it changes things in the world, maybe the vendors, too?

I mean events like the people who have trapped Lae'zel, who are gone if you take too long getting there. Or the exodus of the refugees after you defeat the goblins.
