Is Gale going to Bankrupt me?

So i got to the point where he is asking for the things to feed him,. but is this just going to drain all my money and or I run out of them and he spergsloads? I don't like stuff like this now I don;t feel like using the wizard, just seems like an annoying pain in the ass.

You need to give him 3 items only before quest proceeds at that stage. There are several useless magical items Gale can consume, it is not a bother to be honest.

Buy, steal some cheap items from merchants in the beginning. Later in the game you'll have a pile of them.

I'm not 100% sure but in my case he kind of get a cure in beginning of act 2 when speaking with an old wizard

How do I know what a magical artifact is? the coins themselves dont say they are artifacts.

No not all magic items work.

how do i tell if a cup is a magical artifact? where do items state they are magical and can be consumed by him? nothing in my bag says its an artifact but he says i have one in my bag.

It literally says at the bottom in the description that Gale can consume it, usually it's the green/ blue con magical items.

I've checked every char inv, and my camp chest and not a single item says anything about gale and using them.

Green equipment. Not scrolls, arrows or other stuff.

I guess when he's in your party, then the game shows the hint in the description.

he only needs 3 items and thats it before the story progresses. i actually like that now we can chose magical items that are not very good . i think it really is not a big deal at all now since you can keep the good items.
