why does the hotbar suck so much

you cant rearrange icons, or customize them, the custom bar breaks if you change amount of rows. the hotbar system in dos 2 worked perfectly fine, this is a lot slower. the 1-0 hotkeys arent even super useful now.

you can re-arrange them. There is a small lock icon on the top right end of the bar. Click on it and you can arrange it like you like.

edit: also pressing "K" opens up the skill menu, you can always drop the skills in any order as you like without unlocking the bar

You can rearrange the icons. Just click on the tiny lock icon and you are free to move the skills around.

you can rearrange them, the option to unlock it is on the right side of the hotbar.

how fast are you guys, thanks for the help ill check it out, it drove me nuts the way it worked (i so far avoided the issue by just using the default view lol).

holy lord alright this is a lot better. i still would have prefered the dos2 system but i can see how its basically only relevant to me and 5 other people to make n rows of custom hotbars.

okay you really cant put basic attacks on 1/2 without the game switching views for no reason. theres no hotkey for switch weapon set yeah? because mousing to these tiny buttons all the time is annoying.

edit: alright there is a hotkey for that (switching weaopn set), i just missed it going through the options

Press F to switch the weapons.

A little tip, go to the options and read trough the controls. :)
You also can change them as you see fit.

I changed the character selection from the F1 to F4 to 1,2,3,4

yeah f is weapon switching and some of the base actions have hotkeys, which is nice, you can dump them from the base view. but (1) switching row amount jumbles the order of icons and (2) there are no hotkeys to switch views on the mixed view screen.
