Adamantine Longsword "critical hits" passive not working?
Description says: "When you hit an object with this sword - the hit always will be critical".
I've fought two times with it and it was not working. My friend confirms that he had the same problem.

Oh it's working only against objects and not creatures? If that so then it's translation problem.

Is that not the description in the language you're playing in? Or does object mean something different in your language?

It very well could just be lost in translation.

In russian translation it says "Diamondbane: if the target get hit by adamantine weapon: then hit always will be critical."

Ah, then definitely a translation error

It's ignoring resistance for slashing damage. And i think not only for hitting chests and boxes. It's useful since most of bosses or "elite-mobs" having that slashing resistance.
