Honorable mentions go to inxile and hairbrained schemes ofc but unfortunately they haven't done anything lately.
Yes it does, have you finished the game and know that there is no connection to previous game lore or are you perhaps just putting your ignorance on display?
I guess that makes me who thoroughly enjoyed both the original games a superior BG 3 enjoyer. ;)
My problem with pillars is that it didn't evolve anything, unlike DOS2 did.
Nobody played BG1 and BG2 for it's horrendeous RTWP combat but for the story and companions.
I can't remember i single thing i did combat wise in pillars.
Personally my stance is the first two baldurs gate games should have been turn based too. RTWP should never have been associated with rpgs especially Dnd
Absolutely found pillars of eternity to be a borefest as well and thats why it probably didnt do very well.
Comparing BG as a historical artifact in gaming is an apt analogy. Comparing Larian to Lizzo is a less obvious analogy. In what way would you say they are similar? Both begin with an L I guess, but besides that what can you add? XD
If their game gets better reviews, more sakes and higher concurent players metrics then sure. Those would be fair reasons to call a gane that.
You are aware of how well this game is doing I persume?
True, shame Po2 was step back from first game imo.
LMAO "desecrating"
Lizzo played a flute, which is meant to be played... as a flute... she is a classically trained musician that has been playing the flute since she was like 10 years old.
Quit acting like you gave a ♥♥♥♥ about some dumbass FLUTE before that happened, lol.
Same with BG3, you just whine about some imagined loss, when in fact this is one of the greatest RPGs of the decade.
You have failed so far to demonstrate what exactly it is that was lost from the "good ol days" of BG1 & 2. Instead you reply with some vague notion of how things are different and that's bad, without pointing to anything concrete.
