I dunno. It seems that the negative option would be telling them only to just go home (or "not my problem") and that a positive or neutral option would be saying to let the more experienced people do it.
All I have is that the wording for the two options for trying to get the brothers to stay safe is to tell them to give up the search and either your party'll do it or for them to just let it go. I guess Wyll doesn't want to discourage them... even if it's the best thing for them?
He's a contradiction. He tells the kids they need to fight only enough to get away and not to win. We tell the brothers they can't win, he gets miffed?
