like bruh, the game is hot garbage.

you see all these people like :O! when the bear was on screen in that trailer, because that's all they had, a boring walking sim, with lackluster combat, "well we better do something crazy" then we have a bear on screen and a squirrel dropping a nut.

It's amazing how many people get conned into thinking "this is different"

I mean, it's definitely not a bad game, but it's also definitely NOT as good as everyone is trying to claim it is. As far as a Larian game, it's easily the best one, but in regards to Baldur's Gate and CRPG titles in general? Nowhere near as good as BG2 and wouldn't even break top 10.

It's a game for people who can't play action games, can't compete in multiplayer games, have actual skill issues with hand eye co-ordination and laggy, unresponsive brain synapses.

Is it too much expectation to have a D&D combat like in Solasta? Is it too much to expect mature writing and meaningfull interactions? I think it isn't. Those complaining know games for many decades and _know_ a BG2 eats BG3 even before breakfast. The game is just a relative disappointment, Smotey. Not bad but far from being excellent.

I think DND is probably the overrated part, dice rolls are fine for tabletop with a GM but in a game it's a horrible aspect.

You're not even pointing to anything you specifically don't like except a very few tiny nits. Agree with the others this is click bait and nothing more. Larian has put enough games out for you to have gotten a GOOD idea of what to expect and to that you knew, or should have, that it's a turn bases RPG based on the AD&D 5e rule set. You sound confused. I don't think anybody got conned - just looking for a great game with a great storyline, great combat system, etc. Rinse, lather, repeat.... Why so hard to fathom? bruh...
