Getting Martial Weapon Proficiency
Is there no way of getting the Maritial Weapon Proficiency outside of multiclassing into ranger/fighter/paladin?

You could choose Weapon Master as a feat, so you can gain proficiency in four weapons of your choice. It isn't the same but you at least have 4 martial weapons you could be proficient in

All I want is to be able to wield longbows. I expected to use a feat for it, somehow I missed it hiding inside weapon master. Thanks!
Start as an elf. Start as a martial class at level 1. Take a level of a martial class as multiclass (except Ranger is bugged and you don't get martial weapons proficiency except at level 1). Weapon Master feat and choose Longbow as one of the four.
If you can spare the item slot, there are items (pretty sure gloves/bracers at least) that give bow/longbow proficiency as well
I believe War and Tempest Clerics give martial proficiency, as well as all armors and shields. You can even take them as secondary classes and still get heavy armor proficiency, as it's added as a subclass feature.

Ranger is not bugged; It was intentional by Larian to remove the martial weapon proficiency gained from multi-classing into Ranger because of the way the class was re-designed for the cRPG. It would be downright broken if Ranger also included martial proficiency when selecting the favored enemy "Ranger Knight" already gives heavy armor proficiency regardless of other armor proficiency. It would be the ultimate single level dip. This is also why they did not include Hexblade warlocks, and instead rolled the most important feature of Hexblade into Pact of the Blade, forcing people to take at least 3 levels of Warlock to get CHA to attack.
