At this point I'm really questioning the life some people here must have lived and how crazy narrow their view on the world must be .. it's just baffeling.

BG3 is to the brim filled with secrets and loot to find yet some people here apparently find it more important whom a certain NPC shags in another person's game, it's truely pathetic. I could even understand if some narrow minded players get a bit uncomfortable by NPCs hitting on them in camp (you can always say "No", champ) but when they then also start to question the diversity in skincolour of this fantasy universe .... YIKES. No wonder their basement seems to be the best spot to hide for some here (to use the oldest gamer joke in the book).

stupid people on both sides of the political spectrum. i feel embarrassed for those that genuinely think this game is "woke" or promotes "wokeness"

if you don't like an npc, you can kill them or ignore them. That's not being forced upon you, that's giving you options to either not engage or ignore it.

True and it was enjoyable for a while watching them getting confronted with diversity just a little but it's kinda sad that this woke-debate bs keeps new players from asking their important questions here and getting help with the basics.

It's weird, the characters are good. They look and act unique and that's all that matters to me. But for these weirdo's they must be miserable because they are constantly looking to see if something is "woke", they don't see any of the generic characters they're used to so they NEED TO KNOW if the game dev's are just being different or *GASP* ARE THEY BEING WOKE!?!?!?!?

Stop looking for reasons to be upset. Larian has always made the party diverse, in Divinity 2 we had a skeleton, pompous lizard, demon possessed singer, flesh eating elf assassin. Your average D&D party has always looked like a travelling circus, so I have no clue wtf people are complaining about.

It must be really hard, yes. Imagine you get presented with an amazing movie/game/friendship in rl or whatever and can't enjoy it because you limit yourself to narrow-minded ideas.
And yes, it WOULD feel sad if they weren't so annoyingly loud and selb-absorbed.
