Don't forget about short rests - they cost you nothing, and don't instantly blow trough all your spell slots on the first enemy you encounter. Try using abilities that recharge on short rest, first.
it was lame. some bugged animation cut off mid-way and game over.
other than that i think there's no downside to long rests.
*the gale thing feel ultra-cheap and badly written. i dont have the liberty to delete him because he's gonna blow the world up if i do.. wow.. bad writing, cheap.
would be bad design if long rests impacted you negatively, especially since you have to pay 80/80 rations for it now.
Play more, get a hang of it, and if you get through a fight with resources to spare then try moving on to the next one without a long rest and see how you go. It might not seem like it at first, but you can get a lot done without having to expend spells or abilities.
Uh? I'm not even done with Act 1 and I have some 2400 supplies.
Does the cost increase or something?
Every 2 big fight or so. Depending on how loose your spell casting.
From what I saw it is probably nothing critical, though.
