Items randomly disappear from inventory

Items will randomly disappear from your inventory and equipment:

The other 2 items are still registered (backpack showing 5 items and the weight includes the 2 missing items), but they are not there.
I have restarted multiple runs because my gear just vanished randomly.

Just lost Harold during a fight in Shar's Gauntlet. Got disarmed saw the weapon dropped message pop up and went to pick it up off the ground but it had just disappeared. Used Alt to highlight loot and checked every corpse after the fight, but nope no f*cking crossbow. As usual over an hour since last save so 5th rage quit today.

Thank f*ck I can play Starfield tomorrow and put this on the backburner until they fix the next 1000 bugs.

maybe u just took a region port ehre the carrier didnt want to go... in this case his complete inv will be backpacked ... i finally found my in the campchest - all stuff missing included. Watch carefully :)

Has anyone heard if the devs are on this? I just lost Crushers Ring and my gloves that gave me advantage on sleight of hand. I was wearing the ring, but I don't think I had equipped the gloves yet. I'm not too mad because this is my fourth playthrough and it's a cheese run, I'm seeing how far I can get without ever actually engaging in combat, but those gloves and that extra movement were pretty clutch. Part of my challenge is only using my TAV, leaving everyone else in camp, so it's not in anyone else's inventory. I even checked every single vendor just be to absolutely certain I hadn't accidentally sold them while spam selling everyone their junk back that I'd already stolen from them lol. But alas, my two key items appear to be gone permanently lol

This happened to me with the Ring of Poison Resistance (at least I think that's what it's called. You know the one. I had a single character wearing The Sparkswall and the poison resist ring, and I swapped out the latter for a different ring, but the poison resist ring didn't show up in my inventory. Not on that character or any other.

It's quite obvious, since I often use the option to click on a slot and show all available options, and I used to have 12 rings (filled out a perfect 3x4 rectangle), and now that one's missing. I even checked on the ground where I was standing when I swapped it. Nothing.

It's a small thing in an otherwise amazing game, but man, if it can happen with a blue ring, I don't even want to think about some more.. irreplaceable items.

I had this issue when I accidentally hit the space key whilst looking through the travellers chest (which is a whole other pain anyway)

I noticed items had gone missing fortunately as the effect of Susser Bloom stopped.

I have had a bag with 20 of every kind of coating(except freezing oil which I only had about 5 of) disappear from camp twice now.
