[act 2 spoilers] Astarion break up trigger

I made Astarion drink Drow's blood at the Moonless Towers and 2 long rests later he broke up with me. Does anyone know if I can redempt myself later or is his romance off the table for this playtrough? Anything the developers might have said? Any bets? I have like 3 hours of progress between the drinking and break up soooo

These actually were not dialogue options for me. Entirely different. Tried all options and you get dumped. He will say "you pushed me" and end it. There shouldn't be options if there is only one outcome.

I tested it out and after saying "I care about you" any of the options result in Astarion not breaking up with you, so choose any that you feel like :)

I can confirm any options after saying you care about him work! So take your pick loves!

You might have said something like "Please do it" or "that potion could be really useful" to him or something just before he drinks the Drow's blood.

I chose the "It's your decision" option and he still drank the blood. Still had an argument later on, but i got the option to tell him "i won't ask you to do anything like that again" after he explained how the whole ordeal made him feel like he was being used again.

That means his decision is based entirely off your characters reputation with him because I selected the same and he did not drink it. Haha, nice one larian your romances are quite dynamic it seems.

Was playing co-op and even though I made him bight, he ended up having this conversation with my friend because he had the romance going with astarion. I was so worried I screwed up the romance for my friend!
