Could you go into more detail regarding the big muscle dude you mention? I did this quest, killed the red dwarf that kills everyone and the investigater tells me to go to the tombs but I do not seem to have the password for this.
note: not on ground, is some hanging dead guy
I'm stuck at the same point. How do you open this door?
How much of this thread have you read? This has been answered multiple times
You are right I missed it found it now thanks
:D
In the house you fought the red dwarf, the gnome constable should be there too ( before the fight starts you can see her during the cut scene ).
She has the the password to open door in the tombstone house.
If she is dead after the red dwarf fight, use Speak to Dead spell on her body and ask her about the password.
in addition, if you agreed to Orin's terms, you'll receive the password from a note after killing Gortash (I think you have to long rest after killing him?)
Appreciate the comments but I did not side with her and the body appears to be gone so no speak to the dead for me. Should anyone know of another way it would be greatly appreciated. Would otherwise have to reload 15 hours of progress which I do not fancy doing.
and the merchant outside of the undercity ruins doesn't have anything for you? Even around him he doesn't have an amulet?
Just read the whole thread mate :) its four pages of goodies
No the merchant did not have anything and I don't think the amulet can be found any other way. I did manage to fix my problem so this reply serves mostly for other people running into the same issue. I went back and talked to the dead all of the targets for the quest (which for some reason were still marked on the map. Then after a while of searching I thought about searching in my chest at the camp where it turned out I had put the note I needed. Immediately upon putting this in my inventory the quest box popped up and I knew the password. [/quote]
