Act 3 - Can't enter Temple of Bhaal

Title. The kid i effectively adopted as soon as i entered act 3 got kidnapped by Orin, no note or anything, just got the quest popup "Someone from your group has been kidnapped, find the lash of bhall and find them" but i have absolutely ZERO idea where to go to find it.

I've mapped out the entire sewers, scrounged the two main areas of BG, and i can't find anything.

Edit and solution for everything still stuck on this part:

You must pursue the temple murder and talk to the flying elephant about bhaalist murders in the city, it'll lead you towards the solution.

Enter the sewers from the drop down in Cazadors tomb. Take the ferry across. Follow past all of the grease guys and there's a door to a darkened area. Keep following until you come to a passageway to a new area, and the temple is there.
I can't figure out how to enter but I've found the front door.

Yeah, sorry. Cazadors tomb is part of the Astarion quests.
The undercity ruins with the mute merchant - the door to the temple is right next to the teleport point.

if you can,

1. go into the sewers right by basilisk gate
2. Destroy the wall
3. Turn off the noxious gas and go through the large door at the top of that room (if you completed the emperor quest, you're probably already familiar with this room)
4. From there head West north west, past the grease monsters (skill check here so they don't harm you otherwise you'll have a pretty hard fight)
5. Undercity ruins will be just north-ish from there
6. Shoot the corpses above the skull

already figured it out. My problem now is how to get inside of temple of bhaal?

already figured it out. My problem now is how to get inside of temple of bhaal?

so you have that skull surrounded by the blood droplets in a circle, yeah? And the corpses on ropes above them? Shoot that, that'll open the way for you

Unless you mean later on, there is a SMALL door right after the broken column and that hideous fight with the fifty bhaal cultists

The door is just over the broken column that you pass over, you see that big gate? just inside on the righthand side. I went ALL over that trying to find it lol

Yeah i have that problem too i have no idea how to open the big stone doors at the end of the bridge
