Character can't jump.

So I have a weird issue with my jump button that I partially resolved. It says I must have used dash this turn to jump.

However, I'm not in combat or turn mode. I could not get my character to jump at all. Except when auto-following the rest of my party. This really ruined an area when I could of used stealth to avoid a confrontation, because I had to jump to the next area.

My partial resolution was to reload from save, I say its partial because the error text is still on the jump skill and the ability icon is still red. Not sure whats going on with it.

Having the same issue. Whenever I try to jump with Astarion, it gives a red icon and does not allow the action.

So I just figured out that its because I have a pair of gloves on called Fleetfingers, that shares the same hotkey as the regular jump key when you try to use it. For some reason it defaults to the items jump skill which is only intended for combat. I just got rid of them.

Also fleet fingers lol. I was like “oh I just have to jump with other characters and let my guy follow” just to get by

default keybind for jump is z, you can change it in the settings

Just chiming in that I had the same problem and it WAS the Fleetfinger gloves causing the issue. You've saved my sanity!

THANK YOU! I was having the same issue (fleet fingers gloves... not being over-encumbered. That was my first assumption). After un-equipping then re-equipping the gloves, my issue is resolved. I also have the Speedy Lightfeet boots, so getting bonus jumps AND 3 lightning charges on just one dash wasn't something I wanted to part with.

Idk seems like a few people have been having trouble bc he wont even jump with like auto pathing and the jump button on mine didnt even go red it says he can jump but he just doesnt
