if not, u need to play tactical maybe load sometimes and try your best to throw of enemies anywhere u can so they cant even ressurect anything. If not possible maybe burn them or something.
You mean the Underdark? I went there on level 4 and got my ass kicked. Maybe it's more manageable at level 5, I'll give it a try.
Or find some way to hard cc the other like Tasha's Hideous Laughter.
Your class is wrong and your party is rubbish.
Kidding.
That's so easy to do with the DnD rules.
You can change class at any time in this game. And respec.
If you aren't good enough at the game/tactical thinking/preparing pots/items/spells for a particular encounter, then reduce the difficulty or load an older autosave/quicksave and route through Underdark instead.
Also there should have been a warning screen when you first started on your route saying you were about to enter into an area that is painful for characters of your level. That's basically Larian saying "we really suggest taking the Underdark route unless you're a hardcore andy who loves pain."
If you aren't on Tactician difficulty then the problem is that you aren't good at tactics (basic tactical thinking is still needed for Balanced difficulty). This is a tactical combat game, brute-forcing stuff won't work unless you get really lucky with rolls. On that note it's also possible to lose to bad rolls even if you do everything right - unless you have Karmic dice enabled which I think removes the possibility for insane fail-streaks in combat.
So in the Underdark when I first get there I tend to go take on the beholder while avoiding the minotaurs and burrowed enemies until I can get to the mushroom settlement. The dark dwarves are much easier to deal with by comparison.
You don't have to fight every tough enemy. If things are 1 shooting your party avoiding them is the correct decision.
Right, I fought the Spectator/drow as well and it was easy - I didn't fight the duergar until after I got the mission to kill them from the myconid sovereign (got by the initial contact with them with conversation checks). the game keeps 25 autosaves/quicksaves history and offers many routes to get to the same places for a reason. Some routes are harder, some are easier. The game is very well designed to appease both casuals and masochists, although if you're too casual you may not realize you can go back and take a different route in the first place...
I also make a hard save whenever I zone into a brand new area. It really opens up possibilities for me in case I get hardstuck (I haven't yet).
