how to lift up the forge again?

hello, i just beat the adamantine boss and i don't know if i'm good to tp out of the place or should i bring the platform up??
because if it's stuck in there i won't be able to use it again??

I would also like to know.

I teleported away from it to waypoint no problem, but i needed to jump quite down when I wanted to use it 2nd time.

Also, I did not realize how to turn off lava when not forging, so i needed to tread thete very carefully....

waypointed out of there. i can always misty step down there if something happens later but i doubt ill need to go back there

I had an issue here too, the lava sometimes get stuck there and that stops the platform from moving.. I found that if you turn on turn based mode and just end turns for a few rounds, the lava will drain away again and then the whole forge can be reset. You can forge another item, or just raise the platform and leave.

basically, the game initially only expected you to forge ONE item. it breaks if you go ahead and make more than one. the lava drain step never happens, and you can forge endless items if you want, but you can never raise the platform again.

In our playthrough we made first one, fought boss, raised platform back up, tp'd back to first area of game to finish up some quests, then went back and forged 2nd item later on. I think your supposed to raise the platform in between making items.

just make sure to use a potion of fly or feather fall.
