Is there a way to sort inventory?

I get it I basically have a separate inv for every character but after a while they are all cluttered like hell, is there some automatic sorting mechanic im missing, is there like a common chest anywhere where i can unload stuff i don't need anymore?

If anyone has a guide to inventory management id really appreciate that

There is traveller chest on your camp. And you can short your inventory by type/recent etc, on the top of the inventory list there is a circular icon

There is button right above the open inventory - sort by type, price and etc. But that's pretty much it i think

Right click Item and then hit send to camp, will be in a chest at campsite. For sorting there is a button at the top left of the inventory screen that lets you sort.

oh neat thanks thats helpful so i found the chest too and how I can send things to it, i wonder is there a faster way then right click item > select send to camp? a hotkey for this would be nice

There’s also a drop down list above the items which filters them

Okay I found out you can select multiple item by hold ctrl+left mouse button and then u can send them to camp all at once thats all needed, thanks ya'll for helping!

its far from perfect but its okay with the things i learnt but it could use a ton of improvement ngl

master the shift and ctrl clicking and besides that using bags and sorting from the dropdown menu "type, latest, etc." it's just not that great but if you're not using the shift a-b highlight and ctrl highlight then you're going to have a much worse time. Would be nice if the category icons from the trader at least were in our own inventory as well seems like a no brainer

sort by type is a bit useless. doesn't really work in my opinion. yes, most potions are grouped together, but camping supply stuff? all over the place.

I also wish there was a hotkey to tidy up your inventory after moving things around. Right now you have to go to Sort and choose an option. I've also noticed that some items don't even appear until you sort again. I moved a Camp Supplies pack over to the Traveler's Chest and it wasn't showing up until I triggered a sort there.
