Nope, you just lose Oath specific powers. You keep Lay on Hands, Divine Smite etc.
Not arguing, but that's pretty terrible class lore.
Oathbreaker is not an oath that you pick, it's a specific subset of rules.
It is just subclass features that change.
Yeah it mostly changes spells learned to more necromancy focused, you can still learn all the same smites and certain base spells including the ones that would be more radiant damage based.
Larian publicly said that they have the belief that "no race is inherently evil" and they show it through arrogant flaunting of races that would make others rightfully grab their pitchforks and do everything they can to murder them in cold blood in fear for their friends and families.
"Good" mind flayers do not simply happen in the way that The Emperor exists just because they wanted to be strong and independent from Daddy Elder Brain, and the hosts of mind flayers never maintain a sense of self as they are always completely erased by the mind flayer parasite after the change is complete.
Rapheal has a stronger stat line than currently Archdevils with 5e data sheets.
Where are the other 3 council members of the Baldurian leadership that should be required to swear in an Archduke?
And much, MUCH more. BG3 is a game, or more accurately just a fanfic. A bad one that should have been posted on resetera or /rCriticalRole.
And they can even wield Tyr's Sword of Justice ? that's inclusiveness haha
Where in the lore does it say you need to be bound by an oath to use those powers? Paladins have that restriction, obviously, but where in the lore does it say that's the only way to get them?
I have no trouble believing a demon could have a higher ranking demon as its "patron" and granting it powers that are either identical, or look identical, to paladin powers.
If you have a lore source that says otherwise, I'd be interested to see it.
But if not, I think you're confusing the rules with the lore.
