Got all 4 Umbral Gems but can not continue

I have the 3 umbral gems from the three trials and the one laying next to the displacer beast that belongs to the orthon, yet I can not continue down. It says the challenge at the altar requires Selunite blood. Anyone able to help?

I'm also sitting on having all four but one vanished? Held alt and ran through the whole temple to see if it was on the floor, checked every shop in case I sold it, checked every companion inventory, every bag, everything. It's just gone and I can't advance. Hopefully someone knows an answer.

Yeah, same here. I had got all 4 gems. Somehow the first elevator engine ate 2 gems, so I am 1 gem off at the 2nd engine...

Edit: the 4th gem was laying on the floor, where i killed the last mirror image in the 2nd trial...

I have all the umbral gems, and have gotten to the platform, but when I go on the platform nothing fricken happens. Tried using the traverse gem thing and it makes a noise but niothing happens. I am really startring to dislike this game. Too much BS like this.

Dress Shadowheart up in the justiciar armor and have her equip the spear and it might fix it. It worked for me, ymmv

Im in the same boat. theres no way to take one out, seems like a bug

You need 5. There's one by the entrance with the little statue and the forcefields.

Don't recall any of them auto-inserting, I do recall finding 5 total. Easiest to miss are that one by the entrance and the library with the spear imo.

i do remember only putting in 4 gems, your right about the one at the entrance, tho idk if thats counted as a real gem, since i think it only unlocks the actual temple to do all the trials

There's no bug or anything, you need to get all the gems, with the first one you call the platform, when you're in the platform you need to interact with one of the buttons on the floor, the one in the left, and then the platform moves.
