You need to learn how to manage your resources more my man. Also learn to find different entrances and prepare for battles better so they are more in your favor. What classes are you having trouble with?
Not really many issues, eventually i will manage it. I just can't understand why a mechanic that stupid was put into the game. It's a huge step backwards from divinity 2. It seems like a good game but the combat is quite a step down. So the solution is to set camp after every encounter? If the original dnd had it it doens't matter that it's a good mechanic to put into the game
I was spamming spells to a point where I found it annoying but once I managed my resources better and levelled up a bit and got more spell slots, it became a non-issue
Id rather be tested on my battle logic (without limits) then on my inventory management skills but hey thats just me. Its also kind of immersion breaking to me but w/e. Big troll in front of me but wait, hold on guys, lets setup camp cuz we need spell slots, like what….na
Theres some short rest mods and infinite spell slot mods on nexus, but sadly the game is not balanced around that happening so tact would probably then = easy
It's because DnD purists like it that way, because that's the way tabletop DnD works, and they don't care that it upsets the flow of a video game, because they want it to feel like they are playing a desktop game with CGI and not a video game.
My point is that you don't need to rest after every battle. If you are out of all your resources after one fight you are playing the game wrong.
