in order for your party to enter the planecaster you have to have gone through the cinematic that puts the artefact (ie, astral prism/weapon, that weird spikey thing that Shadowheart carries) in your main character's bag and won't let you drop it. This triggered for me randomly after I had already killed Lae'zel after not being able to enter the astral prism. Once that happened I took my party there and the cinematic played just fine.
So if you haven't triggered that cinematic before going into the inq chamber and killing him you won't be able to leave without also killing Lae'zel
Just reload a save before you peak to anyone in that room. Litearlly I loaded a save of me at the door to the room and when I spoke to the Inquisitor I had the prompts.
Sat for hours trying to figure this one out.
How did you trigger the scene?
My main character has the artefact but it's not helping(you get the artefact from the moment you ask Shadowheart to stay in camp)
I reloaded and moved the whole team to the center of the room and talked to the Inquisitor with the Main character: Script worked and violence commenced from a tactically inferior position. :-(
same, I'm hoping there's a fix for this soon that doesn't involve reloading, I do not have a save from that far back.
