Is breaking the Paladin Oath bugged?

I took Oath of Devotion and have so far:
- Allowed Arka to kill Sazza
- Killed Every Goblin in the Blighted Village without provocation and before they were hostile
- Read the Necromancy book completely, turning every page
- Killed the Paladins of Tyr that wanted me to hunt down Karlach

... I want to be an Oathbreaker, but apparently I cannot. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same exact issue. Been trying to hit all the oath breaking triggers and still cannot break my oath. Some people said that torturing Liam if the sanctum would break it, but my drow paladin doesn't even have the choice to do it. Can only talk to him.

Is it your starting class or did you use a respec to get your paladin? Maybe there is some issue with the oaths not working if you change your class? Just a guess.

Also interested to know, my friend chose vengeance but after some pretty heinous deeds he still has his powers, don't know if that is due to the nature of the Oath though.

Vengence -> let the goblin sazza live and let her out from the cage or
Kill the thieflings that had the green ugly woman in a cage be tricking them to kill her. (worked for me)

Oathbreaker look have a bug that after leving up the MC become naked on the portrait and lose his armor. (Well only see his head and shoulders)

As far as I know as long as you don't INITIATE the fight then you can safely defend yourself against people.

Necromancy Book is a toss up, you can argue the book manipulated you into doing it.

Sazza is an evil Goblin and it wasn't by your hand, so I guess technically that's ok?

Those aren't Paladins of Tyr.

No idea, I reloaded and killed her instead. I do not plan to play "evil" this playthrough.
