How to ENABLE the Launcher? Or switch to vulkan?

So the game works almost perfectly on my SteamDeck, but i can't seem to find how to launch the launcher lol. Because it gives the ability to switch between dx11 and vulkan. Anyone figured an easy way to start a launcher on SteamDeck or easy way to switch to vulkan exe? Maybe there's special launch option for it?

There was a post on reddit saying it comes up if you launch the game in offline mode.
It doesn't for me but it might be worth a try.

Found another post on reddit and on the technical forums here.

you can change to vulkan by editing the preferences.json file for the launcher.
path in desktop mode is:

steamapps/compatdata/1086940/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Larian_Studios/Launcher/Settings

set "DefaultRenderingBackend" to 2

Launching the game offline will reset this change however.

You can simply start the BG3.exe from the folder ("Baldurs Gate 3/bin") which is vulkan.
BG3_dx11.exe is... Direct X 11.

no launcher for me, it seems to be missing some dependencies (requires installing additional exe, so i didn't bother)

I did this initially, but i'm running steam deck (just changed the exe names lol)
