How to read last page of the ancient tomb book?

So I got it and the poncy dude read most of it but not the last page. What am I supposed to do?

Huh? you read it succeed the die roll. :)
It is a wisdom saving throw so have someone with high wisdom read it and add on bless and guidance.
And if you do not want to reload saves be sure you have a few inspiration re-rolls.

and even better havea Gnome read it. "Gnome Cunning: You have advantage on Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma Saving Throws."

Nah, they changed it since the early access, you can still do those checks but even if you succeed them all you can't read the last page, it tells you you need a key. I am at a loss as well. For now.

Maybe something in Act 2? Was the reward in early access just the ability to talk to dead corpses as I got a talisman that lets me do that anyway

Yeah, act 3, in the a vault. Just follow Gales Questline and don't kill him in act 2
