Yep, please add as an option. It is near impossible to get 4 people in on the dialog on time.

Really need that option, game becomes hell if everyone in a 4-group wants to listen to every dialogue

I want this too. I personally prefer co-op, and that's how I started to play the game. I'm discovering it that way, story and all. Although, unfortunately for me I suppose, I started about a month late. So lots of people have gone through the story a few times so everytime I join or create a multiplayer game, I get other players skipping and rushing through everything. I basically don't know what's going on what I must do where I must go, etc. I understand these people, but I would like to create my multiplayer game with rules that would for example, only allow the owner of the lobby to skip through stuff. It would have to be made clear though for the public that this option is ON. I would not want players joining and get frustrated.

I don't know if there could be other options that could help in this way of playing ?

- Force the other players to stay in the near vicinity of the MP game owner
- Force listen to other players conversations (if they skip, it doesn't make other listeners skip too)
- Only give the control for actions that affect the whole group to the MP game owner (long rest ? group hide ?)

On another related subject; the co-op experience is suffering right now. Here's what happens.

- Create a game only to have people join in and create a dummy character with a name that makes no sense they leave. Make it possible to kick out dummy characters from the game altogether. New players will create a new one about the average group level or so. Have a random name generator. Tav and gfkjjklwe are ... uncool.
- Join a game only for the MP session to close on you after a too short time... Add a time estimate that players could put in at lobby creation. Say for example, I intend to play for 2h. Then the timer starts counting down and is displayed in the browse MP games interface. Make it possible for the lobby owner to modify that timer once in game.

P.S. First and foremost this game needs a chat system !!! People need to be able to talk !! I've joined the Larian Studio Discord LFG channels and tried to find people that would play in the same way as me, but it doesn't work. Some people are nice and wait for you, I can join in conversations but I gotta be quick on the trigger and need to always follow them very close... Basically even if I own the server and I should be leading the party.... :( There's other stuff too like for example someone with low dex going in without thinking or rushing ahead and trying to lockpick a door and waste the chance, whereas if there would have been people talking and choosing the best option.... Feels like this game should not have the option of create public games if I look at the way it's working right now. I don't have friends that like this type of game so I'm trying to find some, but it seems the only way to play MP right now is with people with which you can communicate and agree on stuff. Hard to do with randoms, even if they tell you they won't rush ahead and skip conversations. Haven't had much luck with that. Seems like my only option is to play single player first and then go in MP. But even then, I probably won't have experienced all the different choices and possible outcomes in SP so... The MP experience, in the current state, is bound to fail in that way... Quite sad really.

I really hope they fix it.

The story is important to me, its the core of the game. I want to listen to everything because it's interesting, I have to know the purpose to know where i'm going, what i must do, how certain characters are, etc.
