German Audio?

I have no issues to understand english actually, but it would be a much smoother experience to play the game in native language (probably for others too)

Will other audio languages added in the near future?

No, because if they add German, the french come out of the woodwork and want 1 too.

And then the italians start complaining and the spanish want their own VA aswell.

You guys have been way too spoiled in the past with custom VA's for AAA games while the majority of the world never get's anything VA wise.

Dafür gibt es doch die Untertitel. Ich mag die Spiele auch lieber in deutsch, aber es ist ja nur die Audio Spur, der Rest ist ja alles komplett in deutsch.

That would be such a huge investment, considering the amount of dialogue... I don't think that will happen.

The more stuff like that you add, the worse your actual roleplayer options become. I would even prefer no VA and thus even more dialogue options

In the age of AI tools left and right I have about zero tolerance for not including at least the major languages. AI can do near perfect text translations these days but decent audio too. Just look what modders have done with some Skyrim NPCs. So I most likely won't get BG3 without German audio. May seem ridiculous but in text heavy RPGs my native language is more or less a must for me. The game featuring translated texts already is good start and puts me on the fence of getting it. But I can't just stand to read German texts when the audio is English. Switching back and forth is also not an option for me so I'd better turn off audio speech althogether. But I have feeling to miss out quite some atmosphere if I turn the game into Monkey Island mode. Having not played the game and not wanting to see spoilers, I can't tell for sure though.

Well, it's all your own fault if you always buy everything the developers present to you, if you would just keep your feet still and not buy, they would offer syncros all by themselves because they want us to buy their products

Today there are even German studios that don't even offer German as a language.

at the prices I can expect a German syncro, if it's not there I won't buy it. Think about it!

Es ist eher zur Rarität geworden, dass Spiele mehrere Vertonungen hat, aber das ist nunmehr auch schon etliche Jahre so. Gibt immer welche die das machen, klar, aber letztendlich will man mehr Geld sparen als das man ausgibt.

Man kann sich natürlich darüber aufregen, aber wie man die letzten Jahre im Detail betrachtet, führt das nirgendwo hin. In der Zeit wo man sich non-stop darüber aufregt, hätte man auch einfach 'nen Sprachkurs besuchen können.
