black loading screen in middle of combat?

any fix besides alt f4? game doesn't seem frozen, sound is playing, i THINK i can click things as pressing hotkeys makes for, say, inventory sounds like its opening, but the screen stays black and loads.. forever it seems.

Just happened to me for the first time as well. Hopefully they can figure out what causes it and patch it with Hotfix #2.

Alt tab out of the game and back in fixes this rare bug.

unfortunately this didnt help me, the black screen load seemed very related to a specific room I was in during combat, the reload would focus on my party leader, but the second I moved to the summon who's turn it was, id be stuck in the black screen again
