Mindflayer Specimen not being added to inventory bug?

hokay, so i've been collecting the little tadpole specimens, but as soon as the dream guardian asked me to consume one all of my mindflayer specimen disapeared from my inventory and any time i pick a new one up it isn't added to my inventory, it just stops existing. is anyone else having this issue?

its under your illithid management now, similar to spell

That’s where the consumed ones are but where are the rest of the specimens that have not been consumed yet?

After the consuming scene all tadpole you get automatically goes into the pool iirc, and I'm not missing any in my collection

I have the same issue as OP. I have picked up at least 4 specimens and they never reached my inventory. I first though I sold them or dropped them, but nope. Picked them up and they are gone. Neither in inventory nor did the show up in the illithid management window

I have the same issue. I had 3 specimen from raiding that goblin camp, killing all 3 goblin leaders.

When I tried to just put one in a backpack for inventory management, after getting that dream with my guardian, it prompted me ot consume the tadpole. which I did. though the other 2 specimen I had... vanished, and I only received ONE point in my illithid power tree. :(

Bump I am receiving this issue as well with all specimens disappearing after the first one.

I am having this issue as well. I know I looted them, but they're not showing in inventory or in the pool at the management screen.

Everytime I walk past a spot where I looted one get the narrator dialog about the parasite again.

You only have to Consume the very first one and special ones later in Act3, all others get added as "Skillpoints" in the Tadpole Management screen automaticly

For me, they do not.

i think you must consume all when get any number of bottles. Or just one and will consume all at one time. I that its major bug for now. So coll;ect bottles and consume when at one time.

For me, they do not.

Same for me. I just looted a specimen out of the gnoll warlord. It was in his inventory. I right click to loot, yet doesn't show in my inventory, nor in my illithid powers panel. :(

Anyone eats one, all bottles in enventory going to be eaten. You even can catch it in the log.

this seems like a bug that happen prior the dream, did you guys mess with the specimen, examine or put in and out inventory?, there seems to be a trigger and most player doesn't get the trigger bug

All I did try was to put the specimen in a backpack for inventory management, but then I got that cut scene about absorbign them... I got only 1 point out of the 3 I had in iventory, and any new specimen I loot, does NOT appear in my illithid power pool. I'm currently doing a bug report about it with a save file.
