I seriously detest puzzles in this game.

Yes, I hate puzzles, it's often make no sense, and puzzles in world are very rare, most Civilization don't try build or designed puzzle like that in common.

Above which doorway? I'm stuck on the second puzzle in the underdark.. the light streams.. There's a book which doesn't hold any clues above the gate.. there's nothing else here that I can see, I tried shooting the gem.. firing magic at it, nothing works.

Just dont step out the gate without fixing it, it hurts.

The first can be bypassed which is abit cheaty. The second I have a clue.

You can destroy the moon gem by shooting it with an arrow.

You can right click and examine it to see if it has any resistances

That one is really straightforward. The light comes from the crystal. I destroyed the crystal (threw a box at it). The light is now gone.

And yes, my character is a barbarian, lol

You have to hit it from the front. Got it now. Stupid buggy broken game. That was 2 hours wasted.

How does a gaseous form get knocked down... They've made the minotaurs stupidly overpowered as well. It's like fighting something thats lv 10 at lv 5.

there is also 2 other ways out of that room, 2 other ways (at least) into the underdark avoiding that area :D. you'll get the hang of it, most of the stuff isnt as complex as it seems at first :) or at least there is a more brute force type way.
