Halfling luck
So I've just had a day playing nothing but baldurs gate with my new halfling. And i noticed something. I didn't roll a single one to reroll the entire game.
Not once with the halfling. I understand that lucky means i should be rerolling them when they occur, but is the game actually doing this and the results are hidden/not telling me or has it simply removed the option to roll a one on the d20. Because they're not the same thing. It also removes alot of fun about playing halflings. And I'm very annoyed to have spent so many hours in the game if that's the case.

Have any other halfling players noticed this? Have any of YOU rolled a one for halfling luck to occur?
The game really feels like the dice are weighted in some way and I have karmic dice turned off.

Is there a way i can respec my race if this is the case? Very annoying.

I just rolled one as a halfling while I was trying to lockpick a door. There was no option to reroll based on halfling luck, had to use another set of thieves tools, but that's not the point.
Why halfling luck didn't work?
That left me very confused.

Yeah same here, rolled a nat 1 one a persuasion roll with no option to reroll. The lucky racial does work in combat as I see in my log "dice rerolled." Really would like to see this fixed tho. Whole reason why halflings are my fav is so you can't roll 1's.

Yeah I quit playing mine because of this. Halfling luck is imagined and not real like clim... nevermind

my guess is that it's possible it works fine, but doesn't show the reroll. When you get a 1, it's because you were unlucky enough to roll it twice. just a guess though.

Doing a Halfing Bard, was only talking the other day about never seeing a Nat1 in skill checks, just rolled Double 1s on Advantage TWICE with using Inspiration, 3rd time I got a different roll.. I needed a minimum of 2, it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

When you are a halfling, it AUTOMATICALLY re-rolls 1s.

You have to check in the combat log to see, but you'll never SEE a 1 unless you double roll 1s.

It's the same like when you have the rogue feature Reliable Talent. It never SHOWS rolls under 10, it just shows you the 10+ rolls
