Question about Shove/Improvised Weapon
Two quick questions about these abilities to any kind souls able to answer:

1) I saw my friend die when the enemy barbarian shoved her into a wall and killed her. I tried doing the same and still did 0 damage. What am I missing from this exchange?

2) I'm doing next to no damage compared to using my weapons with my (lvl 2) maxed Str Barbarian when I pick up an imp and hit another imp with it. Is there a way to increase this damage or use it in a better way? (aside from throwing them off cliffs or into traps I guess)

Sounds like you're not a frenzied berserker or whatever the subclass is?

Wait, you can pick up enemies and hit other enemies with them?!

What ability is that? Is there any way to create a build focused on that?

Berserker is what you wanna play to do that.

I'm afraid my original questions are gonna get buried without an answer at this rate, but to answer yours, it's called Improvised Weapon. And the damage itself from it has been relatively underwhelming so far (though I'm only level 2 so far), which is why I was asking for help from the community to learn more about it.

In general though, all these moves seem to be oriented around CC and putting enemies where you want them instead of pure damage, which is what my current build is aiming to do. Of course, if there was a cliff nearby, the amount of damage I'd do before he fell off would be totally irrelevant haha.

Oops, sorry about that. I just thought it sounded like a really fun way to play, especially if you take advantage of cliffs and damage surfaces.

All good! It's funny you say that, because when I tried to google the answer to this question, google was filled with people complaining how overpowered these two skills are when paired with traps and cliffs haha.

I'm personally enjoying it a lot, especially paired with friends who can keep me alive while I 'spartan kick' enemies back into dangerous surfaces (sometimes we create our own death surfaces too with throwables)
