Where did the Orc lady you meet at very beginning go?

I'm wondering how I lost her. I'm not very far in game. Got off ship and in first area I sided with her to fight a couple of people. Don't want to get specific in case it's spoilers for folks. Anyway, after that fight she's just gone and I only have the other people in my party.

I'm only concerned because she is literally on the front of all the marketing material for the game, in fact she stands out on the background here on the forums lol.

I even took a long rest and she isn't at my camp. So, is she supposed to just disappear or did I miss something?

Firstly, she is not an orc. Secondly, yes, she has run off (because that is how she rolls), but she didn't get far and you will stumble on her if you search the first map a bit. She is hard to miss.

She`s Traped near the portal where you meet Gale, she`s shouting at two tieflings. just search this area.

I did that... I sided with her, we fought the Tieflings and now she's gone.

Did you check your camp if you have the other three already she goes to the camp

After you get her down, there are three possibilities:

1. You tell her to get away from you. She may be gone, or you might meet up again later.
2. You ask her to join your party, and you have three or fewer members, so she begins to follow you.
3. You ask her to join but your party is full, so she waits at camp. Select the rest button (right side of the action bar), go to camp, ask one of your other companions to hang around camp, and then talk to her and ask her to join you in your adventure.

for me she joined my party after that fight if you have over 4 ppl in your group there sent to the camp or you tell them to go there own way but you said shes not there so i think it might need to roll back your saves to before she vanished im afraid to say

Not Orc, she is Githyanki. A race of beings from the astral plane that were enslaved by the Ilithid for centuries until they rebelled and won their freedom. They are typically Lawful/Evil, so if you are not playing a darker party it would be best to be thankful she is gone. I think if you did not invite her to your party at the Teifling encounter she is gone for good. Restart or reload an auto save from before that encounter if you do want to have her in the group.

Thank you lol. Yeah, I don't know how people missed that either but at least they were trying to be helpful!
