Knowing which direction to go first? So many paths
Is there anything i'm missing in terms of knowing where to go first? I went right from starting area before getting any companions, and struggled with only 2 party members doing the cellar (5 rogues) and then the skeletons. I managed to defeat them after a long time, but frustrating as exiting the crypt, I got two new companions within seconds...

I don't want to run in situations where I go to an overleveled area first and then eventually go to a weak area, I like to progress in order.

Any tips for this kind of thing? Or does the game become a bit more linear/balanced as you go along?

Why lock a pretty huge dungeon in the starting area basically, before you even encounter the rest of your allies - seems pretty poor design/harsh to me.

Too many possibilities.

None of us will choose the exact same route.

But in Act I you really shouldn't have problems with level areas.

Progression is pretty straight forward. You can't really get yourself into a bind.

It's common sense, the map exploration, and how it unfolds.
