Commander's strike not working for anyone else?
When i use Commander's strike on an ally they gain the buff saying they can make an attack as a reaction, but there is no option to utilize it, I've checked everywhere, the character is in range but no option appears on the bar, i can't click the enemy to attack, doesn't show up in "reactions" nothing. just wastes the ability and action. Anyone else having this issue and is there something i may be missing?

I just did some testing on this, it seems to be broken. Basically, the way it works is that the person who receives Onus of Battle has to still have their turn available for that round. They can then use their reaction during their turn for the attack, and then the rest of their turn as usual (so when their turn starts, they can attack once using reaction, and then they can use their action, bonus action, movement, etc).

Even though the description says "their next turn", if the character who receives onus of battle had already taken their turn, then the effect is wasted, because the Onus of Battle buff will disappear when their next turn starts.

In other words, your fighter needs to roll higher or equal initiative to the person you want to give commander's strike to, otherwise the ability seems to be useless. I'm not sure if there's a way to delay your turn.

Ahhh Ok, well thank you for experimenting, at least now the ability can be used, even if it's not working as it's intended.

I will probably just respec and remove it though, since the people I want to give extra attacks to are rarely lower in turn order. A shame.

I got it to work by selecting the targeted ally and canceling end turn. Then they can use their reaction.
