I slapped his hand then walked away. 10 out of 10 would recommend. 👍
Most of what you can feed him is vendor trash anyways.
So we are in camp and he has the ! over his head and go talk to him and he hits me up for magic items and all the ones I can give are ♥♥♥♥ we are using. So I pass the persuade check to blow him off and run over to the camp chest to see if there is some trash in there for him. I find this named short sword +1 that says he can consume it...so I grab it and go back to him and I can't pick it to give to him. So I just pick the last option thinking I can just go back to the chest. No. He just leaves. Gone. The end.
Nothing pisses me off more than games that do not respect the player's time and this ♥♥♥♥ sucks.
Then stop feeding him and confront the consequences. It's a role playing game.
So... what you're saying is that you're roleplaying a good character, but you really don't want any consequences for playing a good character...
If you want to play a goodie-two-shoes, you'll have to make those tough choices.
