Half-Elves look "elfier" than Elves?
Seems like the half elf faces look sleeker and more "elf-like" than the actual elf faces, which are broader jawed and more human looking. Anyone else get that impression?

I got the opposite impression. My advice: make sure to get the correct hairstyle. It has a surprisingly strong impact on the impression of your character.

Same.
Long hair is a must to get that Elven look.

A lot of the long hair just seems to accentuate how strong jawed most of the Elf face look, and I found the 2 thinner faces to look much older and weathered than the half elf faces. In fact, I don't really see much difference in what makes human and elf faces look all that different besides pointy ears. Dwarves and Gnomes have different proportions in their faces that make them recognizable by face alone. With their ears covered, all the elf characters I tried look like humans. Just feel like they could have done more to differentiate elvishness visually.

Yes a couple of facial modification tools would be great.

Definitely. Even if it's just basic tools like altering the proportions a bit, like making the faces more angular. Until then, I've at least found a couple mods that move the half elf faces to the elf character creator. That'll work until/if they change the character creator or add more faces.

I'll settle for a mod that makes Half elf faces available for Full elves.

Surely everyone has noticed that Elf preset 2, is modelled on Sven, right?

Great guy. But he never struck me as being in the same league as Legolas.
