KILL COMMANDER ZHALK

hello i'm having trouble killing commander zhalk. please don't judge me this is my first baldur gate. Do you have any tips on how to kill it please? thank you

Help the mindflayer to do most of the work and hope he stays alive long enough to distract the Cambians while you look, clear a path, and run.

You don't have to kill him FYI. Just go straight for the control panel at the back of the room.

You can always put the Hold spell on Shadowheart and make him drop the weapon.

weapons disappear once you land we tried 2 time

I just surrounded him with all my characters and kept attacking after unloading my spells on him. The mindflayer did most of the work though.

shadowheart + spell 'command'.
cast it on commander and command him to drop weapon.
pickup weapon with Lae'zel and equip it.
Kill him next to hole on left.
Shove mind flayer into hole after for extra xp.

that's not true. you can loot the demon guy's giant fire sword, and you keep it after you land. I just did it.

and i confirmed we did it 2 time in coop both time we collected the weapons and once landed it's dissapeared

If you saved Shadowheart, change her spells and pick Command. With it you can force Zhalk to drop his sword and pick it up midbattle by your character.
If you want to kill him, again, pick Bless on Shadowheart and buff Mindflayer and your dps characters.
